Terms and Conditions of Sale — BlobFarm
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern sales concluded between BlobFarm and any customer (individual or professional) on blobfarm.com.
2. Products
BlobFarm sells Physarum polycephalum sclerotia in dormant form, as well as cultivation and observation accessories. The essential characteristics are detailed in each product sheet.
3. Price
Prices are indicated in euros. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the General Tax Code — BlobFarm benefits from the VAT exemption scheme: no VAT is charged or recoverable. The displayed price is therefore the final price for individuals, professionals, and schools. BlobFarm reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the price appearing at the time of the order is the only one applicable.
4. Order and legal capacity
Any order implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By placing an order, you declare that you are of legal age (18 years or older) and have full legal capacity to enter into a contract, or are acting as the legal representative (parent or guardian) of a minor. As BlobFarm products are intended for use from age 7 under adult supervision, the purchaser and the person responsible for the child user may be the same person. The order is confirmed by email. BlobFarm reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of a dispute or suspicion of fraud.
5. Payment
Secure payment via Shopify Payments. Cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay available. Payment in 3 interest-free installments possible via Shop Pay Installments. No banking data is stored by BlobFarm.
6. Delivery
See the Delivery page for details. Delivery times are indicative. Free delivery on orders over €60 in Metropolitan France.
7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons. Practical return procedures are detailed on the Returns page.
8. Legal guarantees
All products sold by BlobFarm benefit from:
- the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in articles L.217-3 to L.217-17 of the Consumer Code, for 2 years from the delivery of the goods;
- the guarantee against hidden defects provided for in articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code, for 2 years from the discovery of the defect.
In the event of a proven lack of conformity, you can choose between repair or replacement of the product — free of charge. To implement one of these guarantees, write to hello@blobfarm.com describing the defect, if possible with a photo.
9. 100% Awakening Guarantee
Independently of the legal guarantees above, BlobFarm grants a commercial guarantee of awakening: if the sclerotium does not wake up within 7 days while following the provided protocol, BlobFarm will send a replacement sclerotium free of charge.
10. Liability
BlobFarm cannot be held liable for any indirect damage resulting from the use of its products. Educational and recreational use only.
11. Consumer Mediator
In accordance with article L.612-1 of the Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute not resolved by our customer service (please write to hello@blobfarm.com first, response within 24 business hours), the customer has the possibility of using a consumer mediator free of charge. BlobFarm's approved mediator will be appointed shortly and their contact details published on this page. In the meantime, you can also access the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is assigned to French courts after an amicable attempt.
